Donations to Riverbank Neighbors help to pay for all of our supplies, including tools, wheelbarrows, seedlings, and fencing material. They support the fees to keep this website up, and the pizza we buy to feed the work crews after riverbank workdays. In past years, we’ve also paid dedicated skilled staff who worked hours well beyond the regular community workdays.

We are able to receive tax-deductible donations through our fiscal agent, Friends of the Chicago River.

We also encourage our neighbors to join Friends of the Chicago River. We have a long history of working together with FOCR and are grateful for the great strides that have been made towards a cleaner river and the support they’ve offered for all the many riverbank sites doing similar work.
